  • bioRxiv: A collection of preprint articles in the life sciences.

Agriculture

  • Agricola (USDA National Agricultural Library): Records covering all aspects of agriculture and related disciplines.
  • Maize Database: Research focused on the crop plant and model organism Zea mays. 

Birds

  • Birds of the World (Cornell Lab): A fully collaborative ornithological platform that brings together scholarly content with millions of bird observations into a single platform where biologists and birders can explore comprehensive life history information on birds. 

Botany

  • Plants for a Future: Information on over 8,000 plants, including habitat, scientific names, etc.
