Agriculture

• Agricola (USDA National Agricultural Library): Records covering all aspects of agriculture and related disciplines.
• Maize Database: Research focused on the crop plant and model organism Zea mays. 

Birds

• Birds of the World (Cornell Lab): A fully collaborative ornithological platform that brings together scholarly content with millions of bird observations into a single platform where biologists and birders can explore comprehensive life history information on birds. 

Botany

• Plants for a Future: Information on over 8,000 plants, including habitat, scientific names, etc. 

Medicine & Health

• PubMed (National Library of Medicine): Articles in medicine and life sciences.

Biotechnology/Genetics

• National Center for Biotechnology Information: Biomedical and genomic information from the National Library of Medicine. 
• National Human Genome Research Institute Educational Resources:  Educational resources intended to spark scientific curiosity, improve genomic literacy and foster engagement among learners.
• Talking Glossary of Genomic and Genetic Terms: The glossary features nearly 250 terms explained in an easy-to-understand way.
