  • Biome Interactive: Interactive map with information on each biome, including its climate and wildlife. Use the "compare" feature to analyze similarities and differences between biomes.
  • Blue Planet Biomes: Fact about our planet, its complex patterns of biomes, plants, and animals, and how climates ultimately determine the biomes of our Earth.
  • Mission: Biomes (NASA Earth Observatory): Images, stories, and discoveries about the environment, Earth systems, and climate that emerge from NASA research, including its satellite missions, in-the-field research, and models. 
  • National Geographic Biomes Collection: Encyclopedia entries, articles, images, and general facts about biomes. 
  • The World's Biomes (University of California Berkeley): Information and images on the world's biomes.
