World Languages
ACTFL is an organization aiming to improve and expand the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction.
The ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines describe an individual’s language skills in terms of proficiency: the ability to use language to accomplish communication objectives. They portray language proficiency in four domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The Global Seal of Biliteracy offers free certification in over 100 languages, enabling individuals to demonstrate their language proficiency worldwide. A Global Seal language certification empowers recipients to showcase their language skills to educational institutions and employers across borders.
